Capture the Flag is one of the multiplayer game modes available in Conduit 2 based on the ASE.

It is a part of the Team Objective category. When playing under this rule, teams must get to the enemy base, capture the ASE and carry it into the team's own base to score one point; when the match ends, the team that reaches the point limit, or the team with the most points when the time runs out, wins. In this matches, there are two ASEs, one per team, blue and red.

The ASEs are marked on the HUD with the a target mark that also indicates they distance to the player in meters. Players can toss the ASE using the fire button, this can let players use their weapons or even give the ase to a teammate. If the ASE is dropped or tossed into a bottomless pit (like those found in Agartha) it will respawn again on its corresponding base. Also if a player walks over its own team ASE, it will automatically be secured back to its base, this means that there is more effort involved in protecting the captured ball than in other CTF modes.

Like other ASE based game modes, the ball will leave a ghost-like trail and make a loud noise to allow players to find it easier.

Additionally, three pilars can be found in the match, Health - Speed - Damage, and can be captured by standing near them; these pilars grant power boosts for the members of team that captures them. Capturing and securing these can take some time but are not mandatory to win the match. These pillars are also marked in the player's HUD.

John Adams will announce events on the match and victory for the red team, while Andromeda will do it for the blue team.
